Update on the Heintzelman's

Well, I thought instead of putting pictures of what we have been up to here lately I would just write some fun facts about the boys and us.

Let's start with the youngest first-Wesley. I had to go to the doctor last week for a wonderful check-up and the nurses were all talking to Wes and they asked me how old he was when I told them 41/2 months they said; "WOW, babies don't stay little any more." That's exactly what I am experiencing this little boy that doesn't just sleep and eat anymore. He loves to interact! Wesley is so much fun he is starting to scoot himself around. He loves fir you to talk. He and Michael likes to see who can out talk the other and see how loud they can get. They are best friends already. Complete opposites!!!

Next, Michael. All I can say is BUSY!! Michael can count to five and he is starting to pick up on his colors. Michael loves to read books and play. He does not like to watch movies! The potty training thing; he just does what he wants to do. In the morning he is pretty good to go both. But once he goes down for a nap. He is not interested in it any more. I guess when he is ready he is ready! Stubborn little boy! Michael also figured out how to lie. Last week, Michael dropped his french fries on the ground. I asked (knowing who did it), "Who dropped their fries?" Michael's says, "Jack did it." Jack was in tears; "I didn't do it." I told him I knew who did it.

I guess I am next: Well, I am still in the process of going back to college. I am having a hard time finding someone to except my credits to go towards my license. The masters is not the problem; it is the license. Right now Mount Norte Dame is checking out my transcript. It took GBS three weeks to get it to them. So, I am on hold; they said I should know in the next few days. I have my non-tax license. Meaning I can only teach in private school not public.

I am loving staying home with the boys. But I REALLLLLLLLLYYYYYYY miss teaching. I love teaching!

Last but definitely not least-Duane: Duane is VERY busy with work. He has so many people calling him up trying to set up side jobs. But Duane is sooooo busy with Steve he is having to turn them down for now. He did help out my brothers last week. He put down base board at Marks. He is in the middle of redoing Robert's kitchen. Both of my brothers moved into their houses.

Duane and I will be married five years next week. When I think about it; at times it seems to have flown and other times it seem to have crept by.

Well, that is how everyone has been doing.

Katie - Sorry to hear about your transcript problem. I've been there. I know that some universities will accept at least the general classes - just not the education ones. That is how Pittsburg State University is near me. I've also been told that you may have better luck if you go ahead and take a class or two and do really well, then ask them to evaluate your transcripts after showing how well you can do. My Aunt Frances, I believe, ended up at UC doing that and she had gone to GBS also. I'm interested to see how it all works out for you.
