Michael's Upper GI

Yesterday morning, Duane, Michael and I got up early and headed to Dayton Children's Hospital.  Mark and Sarah took Wesley for the night.  Wesley loved being with them.  However, Michael did not like his brother leaving him.

Here are some pictures of Michael at the hospital.  He was a brave little kid.    Poor guy, he had to have a hospital gown on, lay down and drink this "chocolate milk," in close quarters with the camera.  He did have a little episode while he was drinking, which was good for them to see what was going on.  They said his stomach is filling and emptying like normal.  The doctor said it was common to have reflux; but Michael's reflux comes up so quickly it makes him choke or throw up.  The doctor is going to see us in a couple of weeks to give us more details.  They  said he was the best little kid they had in a LONNNNGGG time.  They gave him the sippy cup and a bunch of stickers.

We got there a few minutes till 8am and was down by 3:40.

It looked like he was a brave little boy. Hopefully they will be able to do something about it.
