Life at the Heintzelman's

Well, this week is finals!!!! I can not wait for Thursday-my last one. Please pray that I do well on that test is a VERY important that I pass and it is in my hardest class-Economics. Yuck!!!

I finished Western Civilization today. I have to turn in an essay along with a lot of timely papers.

My favorite class was Psychically of Special Needs. I got a perfect grade in this class. A+!!!! It had a lot of work 15 page research paper, 20 hours of observation just to name a couple.

I also took two other classes that had weekly projects I had to do at a school along with 30 hours of observation. Of course you all got to see one of my projects-my lesson a couple of weeks ago.

I am taking a curriculum class that started last Thursday. Nothing like having to start a class before finishing the last.

After this class, I only have three left!! Yeah!! I will have two degrees my BA in Early Child Education and Intervention Specialist. I have two state boards this summer and maybe two more in the fall to finish the license part. Yes, for your teaching licenses there is three parts/tests you have to go through.

Please pray for next year! It looks like I will be going back to teaching. But where?? Only the Lord knows that and I wish He would give me the scoop! Because I don't like being in the unknown! I did receive an email from a school last week. I honestly haven't really started looking. I plan on making my resume next week and handing it in to a few schools. Who knows what the Lord has in mind or me and the boys. I do know that this has been a great year to spend with the boys. I will never forget the day, God told me he had different plans for me this year. That was so hard for me leaving my job, something I loved doing and the money. I had two questions I kept asking Him,"Is this going to pay the bills?" "Is this truly going to work out?" Thankfully, God knows best and I got out of my comfort zone. I have just thoroughly enjoyed being with the boys 24/7!!!

The boys are doing great!!! Wesley is going to be one next month. I can not believe how the time has just flown by. He is into everything. He loves to play! He like to push trucks/ cars around on the floor. Him and Michael will crawl all around the house playing trucks/cars. They are best friends!! Michael is sooooooooo loving to him. Today, Wes bumped his head on the toy box (he does this often) Michael heard him crying and runs in to help. "Wesley, I kiss it and make it better." He leans over and kisses him on his forehead. Wesley is also cutting teeth and has been a little cranky here lately. Well, we were in the car the other day and Wesley is just crying away. Nothing would help him, Michael offered him several toys, he would just throw them down. Michael would sing to him and he would stop crying for a few seconds and go back at it. Michael is very frustrated at this point and yells, "Wesley, you are being a VERY bad boy!!! You stop crying right now before I spank you." You never know what he will say!!!!

The boys got weighed today. Michael 30.2 pounds and Wesley weighs 22.6 pounds. We go next month for their weight and measurements for the doctor. I am eager to see how much Michael has grown!! I started pulling out summer clothes hoping that will bring warmer weather. Wesley is wearing Michael's clothes from last year. I am starting to get Michael a few things for summer. He is so hard to buy pants/shorts for. They either are just right in the waist and to long or the opposite.

Duane has been keeping busy with work and side jobs. He also bought a new to him truck! The best part is he paid cash for it!!! YEAH!!!!! Yes, it does run. He enjoyed playing with it in the snow a couple of weeks ago. Let's just say, I am glad I wasn't with him. He is such a dare devil.

Well, that's this months chapter in our lives.
