Last Saturday to Today

Last Sunday, after church we had Christmas with my dad's side of the family at my parents house. Everyone was able to make it but Glenda. He had a really nice time and the boys really made out in the gifts. Right now they are the only grandchildren on that side and they get rather spoiled by them. Especially the great grandma Linda, she always has something for them. There bank account is growing quite a bit too because of them.
Ready to meet the family??? Here they are...

First off, my grandma and grandpa-Linda and Elmer.

Here is my cousin Chloe.

My cousin Greg- he is in the military.

Next, my grandpa Carl.

Last, but definitely not least...Sarah, Shannon, Chloe and me!!!!!

Here is the best helper in the house...Michael! He is a GREAT BIG HELPER!!! He loves to keep the house tidy! He will almost always put his toys away with out being asked. I like the next two pictures. The first one is of him sweeping up his chip mess and the last one is him and Wesley hiding in the clothes that need to be folded. He likes to throw the folded clothes to the floor. He quickly realises that he loses the privilege of being on the bed if he does that.

Wednesday, I took the boys to our annual trip to the Neiderman Farm down the road. They have a nice light display with a Walk thru the Bible along with some animals.
Here are some pics of that trip. It was great explaining the pics to Jack. He was really getting into the stories of each picture. It was really crowded that night because a local Christian radio station (WFCJ) was there broadcasting.

This picturs is by Michael's favorite person this season-Jesus! REALLY!!! When we pull into our nieghborhood, I will let him sit in my lap. He asks to see "baby Jesus."When he does see one he gets all exciting and make this funny noice. When we go by a church or a building that looks like a church he will ask; "go see Jesus."

Jack's favorite thing this season is an obsession of nutcrackers. He has over 20 in his bedroom alone. Everytime we are in a store; he begs to get a new one. His favorite nutcracker is a pirate one.

Thursday and Friday, I substituted for Jessica in Kindergarten. Thursday, I got the privledge of suspending a child my first time in my whold big teaching career. The children were outside on the playground. One of the children went and bit the other child through a thick, fluffy coat, thick sweater and a polo shirt. He bit so hard it broke the skin. That was my excitement for that day!!

Friday, was the last day before break and that means-PARTY!! Yes, the kids love party and field trip days and the teachers HATE them!!!
Michael got the privledge of being in the room for a few minutes. He came in, took his coat off like the other children and stuck it correctly in a cubby. Then, we proceeded to go sit at a desk which was not his and the child majorly complained. So, he sat in an empty seat. We got bored with that, got up and got a pointer. He told the children as he pointed to them, "Sit down...Sit down..." He was a lot of fun! He loves his Vashti and didn't mind going with her. Wesley on the other hand is at the stage "mommy's boy." He cried everytime he saw me.

The children came in dressed in there heritage and they also brought in food of where their family came from. That food was very good and their outfits were adorable.

Today, we went to Steven's third bithday party. It was great! Kris the cake was great! She had to use an icing that didn't have milk in it and you couldn't tell.
Michael loved helping Steven open his presents. Let's just say a little too much.
Unfortuately, I didn't take my camera in.

Happy Birthday Steven!!!

I hope everyone has a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! DOn't forget the BEST PRESENT EVER-JESUS!!!!
