Another crazy allergy week

Monday, the boys and I made a bunch of ornaments for the tree. Michael really got into gluing pieces onto his ornament. We put it on the tree and was watching Thomas. When Michael says, "No Wesley, that's mine, no touch!!!" Wesley rolled himself over to the tree and pulled all of the balls and sequins off of his homemade ornament. So, we made another, this time we put it on the decorated tree outside.

Wednesday, we were at Jack's house and Wesley starts coughing so much he starting coughing up flim. He did this several times; I got concerned so I called the doctor and was able to get him right in. Jack got a cat three weeks ago and come to find out not only is Michael and I allergic to it but so is Wesley. The doctor told me to give him benadrel until the cough went away. Wednesday nights, I take Jack to swim lessons and this time I let Michael swim too. He really enjoyed it. Poor Michael, he a welts all over his legs. He cried and cried. I stuck him in the tub and gave him some benadrel too. Thankfully it went away until we went back to Jack's house. Yeah, the same episode happened with both kids. What do you do????

Here is a picture of Michael sleeping in Jack's bed instead of Karen's because the cat sleeps on Karen's. Check out his cheeks. Poor guy!!!!

Here is the cause of our itching and caughing-"Juno."

Thursday, Duane was loading his truck up to come home. He smashed it in the saw. He came home and it looked awful. That night, I offered to take him to urgent care; but his Christmas dinner with work was more important. Steve took us to Cincinnati Christian University for their Christmas program and dinner. It was nice catching up with friends!! Thanks, Steve!!

Friday, Duane went to urgent care and found out he fractured his finger. They drilled his finger nail to relieve the pressure.

Saturday morning it was nice to wake up and my husband was still in the bed. Usually, he is doing a side job Saturday morning. Since he hurt his finger, he was able to spend the day with us. We went to IHOP for breakfast and did some Christmas shopping. Saturday night was our annual Church Christmas dinner.
Here is our rather large Snowman center piece. Jack and Michael enjoyed putting the cotton balls on it.

I was in charge of the children's games. We played pin the nose on Rudolph, made ornaments, guess how many cotton balls were on Frosty and made gingerbread houses. We had a great time.

Well, I think I am caught up on my blogging.
