Thursday, I was sooo glad I had a day to sleep in when my phone rings at 6:15 a.m.. It was Holly the asst. administrator from LBA. Do I answer or ignore?????? I sat there for a few minutes and then decided to answer. Yes, she was in dire need of a substitute!! I asked her if she would would call everyone else and if she couldn't find anyone to call me back. Her wonderful reply was, " I knew you had kids so, I put you at the bottom of the barrow this morning." That was not the reply I wanted because I was having a Thirty-One party for my friend Katie P.. The food needed prepared and so did my house. So, me being me and can't tell anyone "NO!!" I got the boys and I ready (dressed, fed and lunches packed) in 45 minutes. Here is what Michael thought about getting up at 6:15.
Thank you Vashti for the pic. She is my WONDERFUL babysitter!!!
Friday, the kids and I were at Jack's house at 6:30. Thanks to Duane's help; we didn't rush around. He took Michael and I took Wes and we made it on time-actually with 10 minutes to spare. With the extra ten minutes I knew I had time to go through the drive thru at Star Bucks. I wish I never knew the closest Star Bucks to our house has a drive thru; because it is to convient!!! Here is pics from Jacks School Party.

Robert came over and arrigated, seeded and fertiled our yard. Michael enjoyed riding the tractor with uncle Robert.
Friday night, Duane and I took the boys to a near by Farm. Michael's favorite thing to do is go to the "Pumpkin Patch." Every morning he begs to go.
Michael enjoyed looking at the animals.
He fed the goats and sheep.
He watch the pig lick the cow. :>)
He also go to watch two guys chase the pigs. Once the pig was caught; the pig squealed and Michael thought that was great. He likes making the pig noise. The guys had to get the pig to take to a football game for the principal to kiss it.
They had a cool pirate ship to play on and a mound on dirt and tunnels. Michael thought it was cool to yell in the tunnels.
The last thing we did was ride on the hayride. Wesley screamed his head off (I felt sorry for the other people riding. About half way through the ride; he decided to go to sleep. Michael enjoyed it though!!
At the gym I belong to, they had a costume party. Michael enjoyed doing the activities; but really wanted to go into the child cent to play with the babies. His new favorite obsession-baby dolls. Every time we go there, he passes up the trucks and boy toys for the babies. He plays with those the whole time I am working out. He'll pick the clothes out for them to wear and ask the helpers there to put them on for him. No!! My child is NOT going to be gay!! This is an age apporpate thing to do (at least that is what they told us in Child Development class) and he is too little to know the difference between boy and girl toys!!

Here is all of Michael's collections on pumpkins. Each time we go to the "Pumpkin Patch" he gets one to add to the collection. I like the one he did today-the painted one and Duane carved the one on the ground.
Do you see our new addition to our family?? We can't leave the house without him. Because if we do, Michael cries the WHOLE day for him.
Welcome to the family, "Big Mikey!"

Hi Katie, just checking out your blog spot. Good to see you all are getting along ok. The boys are so cute, i bet they keep you on your toes!! Please tell your mom that I said, "hello". She had sent me a little card in the mail in June. I was going through a very difficult time when her little card arrived at my house. Needless to say, it was encouraging and I needed it. :o) I had posted this same message a while back but I wasn't sure you had read it because I commented on an old posting. So, if you have read this same old post before, just disregard. Tell Duane and Robert hello for me.
Jenny-we really miss you and the kids!!! I am glad my mom's card help! She is such an encouragement!!!
