4th of July

We had a blast of a day! I took Michael to my parents house yesterday. I knew he would love to go there instead of with us. Duane, Wesley and I headed down to the hills of Kentucky to spend the day with Lois and Brian Harvey. Doug and Brian invited us (Duane) down to do some four-wheeling. I actually went on two of the rides. We had so much fun! I rode by myself for a few minutes and then I decided that it would be more fun if I rode with my dare-devil husband. The Harvey's have a lot of land with a lot of hill and trails. So, Duane definitely got my adrenaline running. He made me scream one time and threw me off another. We were going through a little scream and up a hill when we hit something and I went to the side. It was all in slow motion; Duane quickly got control over it before it ran over my foot. I feel fine today; my arm is sore from where I landed on it. My second trip with the guys; several adults and children went. We obviously went slower and it started to rain with rain comes mud. Needless to say I was by far the muddiest one there. My husband thought it was funny to go through the mud as fast as he could.

We were going to go to fireworks with them; but we were to popped!

For everyone curious to what happened to the dogs back..... Doug was cooking hot dogs and hamburgers; when one of the hot dogs caught on fire and landed on the dog. It was quite a show and SOOOOOOOOOOOO funny. Doug, you are a good cook!
