Wesley woke up Friday night/Saturday morning very congested. I stuck him in bed with us because he was able to breath real well. The next morning, he just laid around not being his Happy go lucky self. I gave him a bath and he was wheezing pretty bad. I called the doctor and they told me they wanted him at the hospital immediately. So, we go to the Cincinnati Children's at Liberty; it is a REALLY NICE children's hospital. His heart rate was really high and was setting off the alarms; with some medication they were able to bring it down. Once they got it down they gave him three breathing treatments. He screamed bloody murder with each treatment, it took three of us to give it to him. That stuff is an amazing stuff; Wesley goes from just laying around not wanting to do anything to running around the room completely normal. We had to stay an hour and a half after the treatments to make sure they worked and they did. We were sent home with an inhaler and some medicine we have to give him his inhaler every four hours for 48 hours. After that we use it when needed.
A couple of weeks ago, I took him to the doctor for the same symptoms. Right now they are calling what he has Restrictive Airway Disease. He has to have the doctor record him having several episodes before they can call it chronic asthma.
After the hospital we made it to the tale end of LBA's Harvest Celebration. It was a nice time! Unfortunately, I didn't get my camera out.

The poor little fellow. I hope he get better.
I know what you're going through...went through it with Katrin. Really fight to get a nebulizor (sp?), it will save you lots of money!!
Sounds like you've had quite a time! I'm glad he's OK! It's not like you don't have anything else to worry about!
Poor little guy - I hope he doesn't have to visit the hospital again. That little hospital gown is tiny!
