Saturday adventure's

Mommy duties....Michael and I didn't get home until almost midnight Friday night. Wesley was up and ready to play by six. I was so tired and had a little headache. But, I promised the boys that I would take them to the aquarium. Oh, how I didn't want to go; but how can I expect the boys to keep their word if I can't.

Wesley is still cutting those teeth. As you can tell in the picture he was really dazed.

When I take the boys, I always have to get special permission to have my double stroller before 4:30. I went through the whole normal process, expect for this time, they told me I could use their umbrella and have to put Michael in a harness. Jack laughs, and says, "Is Michael a dog now?" Michael thought that was funny and started acting like a doggie. I felt a little weird walking my son on a leash; but I will say it was really nice. He wasn't able to get away. When we got to the new frog exhibit...

The new frog exhibit has a play area for the kids. I took off the harness and let him walk the rest of the way without it (they said if they noticed either one of the children not using their stuff, they would remove all of them). The rest of the trip Michael stayed closer to me than he typically does, it was nice! Once we left Newport, we headed over to Holly's going away party. It was nice to see my teaching buddies again.
Here is how the boys were...

WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Michael's preschool teacher came over and asked if that was how he was going to behave in class every day. Wouldn't that be nice!!! Unfortunately, she knows Michael is FAR from staying still for too long.

Monday, was a nice day, we played most of the morning outside. At the aquarium, I let the boys pick out two more hermit crabs because three of ours died recently. They have been playing with them like crazy. The boys enjoyed playing with them in the sand box. They ran off to play something else, I asked them where the hermit crabs were and Jack came over to inform me that they buried them in the sand. We quickly recovered them.
They worked up an appetite, so we headed over to McDonald's; they quickly ate to go play on the equipment. I didn't take any of Michael which is rare! Here is some of Wesley who is walking more than he use too. It is still not his favorite way to get from place to place.
